Dr. Djuana Cartillar grew up in Bald Knob, Arkansas. She attended Lyon's College in Batesville, then attended and graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 1993. She practiced general/family dentistry for nine years in Forrest City before her dream of becoming a pediatric dentist came into fruition. Dr. Cartillar left the general dental field in 2002 to serve as a pediatric dental resident for 24 months at the University of Tennessee. During residency she trained at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Crittenden Memorial Hospital, and the Arlington Developmental Facility. When she graduated in 2004, she worked in Jonesboro as a pediatric dentist for two years. In 2006, she finally realized her dream of opening Pediatric Dentistry of Eastern Arkansas in Forrest City. Since this time, she has opened an additional clinic in Searcy known as Adventure Kids Dental.
Dr. Cartillar is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Association, Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Arkansas State Dental Association.
Dr. Cartillar is married with two children, Jayme and Tori. Dr. Cartillar's other interest include working with the children in her church, gardening, cooking, photography, and horseback riding. Dr. Cartillar adds her personal touch of beauty and creativity, whatever the activity, from making a two layered coconut cake to digitally integrating her photographs to make collages and unique photo albums.
Jennifer Miller has been a part of PDEA Kids since 2015 as a dental hygienist. Jennifer is married and has two teenage daughters Ryder and Pyper. Jennifer’s favorite hobby includes anything outdoors and being with her family. She chose to work with kids so that every kid would be confident when they smile and learn good oral care at a young age.
Chasity Baskins has been a part of our front desk crew since 2019. Chasity is a mom to her first son, Harrison. Chasity enjoys working with kids which is why she loves her job. Her favorite hobby is going to the lake and being a new mom.
Denise Lumley has been a part of PDEA Kids since 2008 as the office manager. She is married to Andy, they have three girls Candice, Nicole, and Hannah along with 10 grandkids and 1 great grandchild. Her favorite hobbies include all things outside, spending time with all of her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. She has always enjoyed being around kids, so that is why she chose to work with kids.
Renee Littrell has been a part of our front desk crew since 2017. When she is not working she is a full time mammy to her grandkids Ryder, Pyper, Beckett, and Harlon. She is also a mom to Brandon and Jennifer, a dog mom to Sampson and Stella. Her favorite hobbies are gardening, grandkids activities, and spending time with family and friends. She loves working with kids because Kids are “The Best.”
Samantha Boileau “Sam” has been with PDEA Kids since 2008, being Dr. Cartillar’s dental assistant. She is married to Eric and has one son, Garrett whom she enjoys watching play football for the Palestine Patriots. Sam also has 2 dogs and a pet rabbit! She enjoys working with kids because being a mom has always been her dream!
Amanda Barnes has been with PDEA Kids since 2021 as a dental assistant. She is married to Edmond and has one daughter named Alayna. Amanda’s favorite hobby and passion is hunting, of all kinds. Working in pediatric dentistry is rewarding for Amanda, because working with kids is a part of who she is.
Alyssa joined the team in May 2024 as a dental assistant. Alyssa has a dog named Chewy. She wants to pursue a career in dental hygiene.
Dr. Jessica Daiber (“Dr. Jess”) earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Arkansas, then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Texas A&M College of Dentistry, where she was named to the Dean’s Honor List. She completed her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, where she also earned a Master of Dental Science.
During her residency, Dr. Jess trained at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, with a clinical focus on hospital and sedation dentistry, as well as caring for children with special health care needs.
She’s an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association. In 2025, she received the AAPD Graduate Student Research Award for her contributions to pediatric dental research.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Jess enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, and cheering on the Razorbacks!
